VybeCiv is a free, browser-playable turn-based 4X civilization game. You first build cities and research technology on Earth; once you reach orbit, the entire planet becomes a single tile on a solar system map, and later the solar system becomes a single tile on a galactic map—same controls, just ever-larger maps. No registration, no download, and playable on mobile.
VybeCiv is a free, browser-playable turn-based 4X civilization game. No registration, no download, and playable on mobile. The gameplay involves building cities and conducting research on Earth; once your civilization reaches orbit, the entire planet shrinks to a single tile on a solar system map, and later the solar system itself becomes a single tile on a galactic map, using the same controls to develop on ever-larger maps. The author states that Claude Code was used to help write most of the PixiJS rendering and turn logic, map tiles, interface panels, and save/load functionality, as well as handle the zooming from planet to solar system to galaxy; the AI opponent behavior is weaker and only became more reasonable after several rounds of adjustment. The author also used Grok Bot for planning and launch, Suno for music, and fal.ai for art. Design and balance are handled by the author themselves.
